If you need help during a non-medical crisis, you can either:

Call our main number 24 hours a day, 847-441-5600. (After hours calls are automatically transferred to our After Hours Crisis Line)

Or

Visit our Living Room, a calm, safe, place for adults to get support from trained peer counselors. Living Room services are a free a therapeutic alternative to the emergency room. You don’t need an appointment.

The Josselyn Center Living Room is funded by a grant from the Illinois Department of Human Services.

I came to a Josselyn Center conference in 2000. I was so impressed that I eventually joined the staff of Josselyn. I'm proud to continue the legacy of providing mental health services to clients, families and the community.
