Commitment to Affordability
The Josselyn Center is built on a few basic principles:
- Everyone deserves quality care, close to home and their loved ones, delivered with dignity and respect.
- Mental health care must be a top priority in our communities, just like great schools, safe neighborhoods, and access to other kinds of medical care.
- Lastly, we are all connected.
Since we were founded in 1951, our commitment to affordability has never waivered -- even though government funding fluctuates, and has just about evaporated over the last ten years.
We provide psychiatric and supportive services under Medicaid and Medicare, and also take several insurance programs.
We are able to set fees based on a client’s income, thanks to grants, partnerships, and the generous support of individuals in our community.
