Supporting Camp Neeka & Children's Services
Camp Neeka is our six-week therapeutic summer day camp for children ages 8-12. Through traditional camp activities and specially designed programs, children build friendships and self-esteem.
Just like Camp Neeka and many of the other children’s services it supports, this event is fun and educational. This year, Josselyn welcomes Keynote speaker, Dr. Robin Berman, Associate Professor of Psychiatry at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. Author of Permission to Parent: How to Raise Your Child with Love & Limits. Dr. Berman, a North Shore native, will be focusing her discussion on failure to launch and accountability for young adults in today's emotional landscape. She is an engaging storyteller with a purpose. She will be interviewed by our own medical reporter Margaret Shortridge Werd.
In conjunction with the luncheon Josselyn will hold its traditional jewelry raffle. Boutiques will include India Hicks, Stella & Dot, Simply Charmed, and more! Boutiques will be onsite from 10 am to 11:30 am for shopping prior to the start of, and for a short time after, the luncheon. All pop-up shops will be donating a percentage of their sales to The Josselyn Center. It’s a win-win!
Tickets for the Lunch and Presentation are $90.00; and, table of 12 is $1,000.00.
97% of youth participating in our programs qualify for a sliding fee scale or camp scholarship based on income eligibility. Your support will make a difference!
