Josselyn is proud to announce the opening of its newest location in Grayslake, IL. The clinic at 100 N. Atkinson Road will offer outpatient therapy, psychiatric services, and case management.

“We are thrilled to be part of the Grayslake community and deliver accessible, high-quality mental health services to those in need in western Lake County and beyond,” said Susan Resko, Josselyn CEO and president.

The expansion comes at a critical time when mental health care needs are on the rise, underscoring Josselyn’s commitment to meeting the growing demand for mental health services.

We have already received feedback from clients who had been receiving therapy virtually and who now have access to in-person services. This benefits the clients because this access provides comprehensive mental health services within their immediate community,” said Assistant Director of Clinical Services Megan Jaenicke, LCSW.

Clinicians at the new location are equally eager about the opportunity to serve the community. Marijke Sommer, MSW, therapist and clinical coordinator shared, “We are excited to open this branch in Grayslake where we are closer to the Round Lake community, which will now have easier access to holistic, bilingual, and affordable services.”

In addition, Jaenicke shared that the anticipated opening has been met with enthusiasm to serve a portion of Lake County that has been historically in need of services. Sommer expanded on this by saying, “There is a traditionally underserved Spanish-speaking population there that we are passionate about helping and are so excited to be given the opportunity to continue to provide Mental health for all.”

The new location aims to provide a welcoming and supportive environment for individuals seeking mental health care to help foster healing and well-being. “So many of our team members jumped at the opportunity to open this location, which will improve access to mental health services in western Lake County. We feel so fortunate to be able to contribute to this community,” said Sommer.
