Our 2009 Annual meeting was held October 20th at the North Shore
Senior Center.
Members of the Board of Directors, staff, Honorary Trustees and guests heard
presentations that highlighted the exciting range of programs and events
offered during the past year, as well as plans for the future.
Speakers included:
- The Josselyn
Center’s President, Gary D. Smith, who talked of our agency’s financial
security.
- Fran McClain,
Director of Clinical Services, who spoke about the range of programs and
services now offered at The Josselyn Center.
- Attendees heard
from Nicole Perelgut, who spoke about Camp Neeka and Shirley Jakob who
talked about The CLR Drop-In Center.
Several members of our Board also addressed participants.
- Mari Gimbel, talked
about our 2009 Women’s Committee luncheon and of the launch of our
exciting new Josselyn Series of special community events.
- Jim Renneker shared
information about the Boards new Quality and Compliance Committee.
- Kim Siske spoke of
the creation of The Josselyn Center’s first Associate Board, which will
attract the talents of committed young professionals.
However, the highlight of our meeting was a presentation
